2 sticks margarine
2c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2c karo
1t salt
1/2t baking soda
1t vanilla
6qts popped popcorn
Melt margarine
Stir in brown sugar, karo, and salt
Bring to boil, stirring constantly
Boil without stiring 4 minutes
Remove from heat
Stir in baking soda and vanilla
Gradually pour over popcorn, mixing well
Put in 2 shallow baking pans
Bake at 250* for 1 hour
Stirring every 15 minutes
Cool completely
Break and store in tightly covered container
