2 1/2 c. macaroni, cooked and drained
3 T. margarine
12 oz. variety of cheeses (>_1/2 sharp cheddar)
1/4 c. flour
9 oz. milk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Melt margarine in saucepan. Add a little of the milk and whisk the flour in; then add the rest of the milk. Stir and cook over medium heat till thickened. Add cut-up cheese and stir till most of the cheese is melted.
In a medium-large baking bowl or casserole, combine the cheese mixture with the macaroni. Cover top with bread crumbs and bake for 30 minutes or till golden brown. (If short on time, you can microwave it for 5 or 10 mins. and bake for less time.)
