Ingredients

-Sausage (used hillshire farms summer sausage--a little over half of one link cut into little pieces) or other b'fast meat
-Onions (optional; i added chopped to skillet w sausage)
-Little over 1/2 c milk
-3 eggs
-Crescent rolls--half pkg
-1 c shredded cheese, any kind
-little bit salt and pepper
-breadcrumbs and little extra cheese for top (optional)

Sausage Brunch Casserole--very yummy and easy
 approx $4 w my modifications 
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Ready In: 30 Minutes
Servings: 12

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pounds ground pork sausage ----(9 0z chopped summer sausage)
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls ----(1/2 pkg)
2 cups mozzarella cheese----(1 c cheddar)
4 eggs, beaten -----(3)
3/4 cup milk-----(just over 1/2 c)
salt and pepper to taste (added chopped onions to sausage in skillet)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place sausage in a large, deep skillet (and onions, if using). Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Lightly grease a baking pan (pie pan, 8x8, etc) Lay crescent rolls flat in the bottom of the pan. Combine cooked sausage, cheese, eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over crescent rolls. (sprinkled cheese and bread crumbs on top)
3. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until bubbly
Serves about 4....double recipe for more (prob only need 5 eggs tho)
