2 sticks margarine
1/2 (18 oz. jar) peanut butter
3 1/2-4 c. powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla

Topping, (optional): semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

Microwave margarine and peanut butter till melted. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla.
Pour into 8" square pan (or equivalent).
If desired, melt chocolate chips and spread over fudge. Chill.
