Ingredients

1 c margarine
2 c brown sugar
1/2 c corn syrup
1 t salt
1/2 t soda
1 t vanilla
6 qts popped popcorn

Cooking Instructions

Melt butter. Stir in corn syrup, sugar & salt. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil w/o stirring 3-4 mins. Remove from heat. Stir in soda & vanilla. Pour over popcorn in large, shallow baking pans.

Bake 250 for 45 mins-stirring every 15 mins.
Remove from pans immediately and cool on wax paper.

If you have an air popper, fill the cup to a little heaping with popcorn--pop--dump in large roasting pan--refill--pop--dump! It fills my roasting pan pretty full so be careful when stirring or it'll be jumping out of the pan. Left by: Mom (8 Dec 2012)
